Brandon Kyle Belt (born April 20, 1988), nicknamed "Baby Giraffe", "Sparky", and "Captain", is an American former professional baseball first baseman. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Francisco Giants and Toronto Blue Jays. He was a member of the 2012 World Series and 2014 World Series championship teams with the Giants and an All Star in 2016. Belt played college baseball for the San Jacinto Central Ravens and Texas Longhorns. He was selected by the Giants in the fifth round of the 2009 MLB draft, and made his MLB debut in 2011. After 12 seasons with the Giants, he signed with the Blue Jays as a free agent in 2023.
