Daniel Sánchez Ayala (born 7 November 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who last played as a centre-back for Potters Bar Town. His first professional club was Premier League team Liverpool. He signed for Norwich City in 2011, and joined Middlesbrough on loan in October 2013, before joining the club on a permanent deal in January 2014. He joined Blackburn Rovers in 2020, spending three years at the club before a move to Rotherham United.
