Gene Michael Grossman (born December 11, 1955) is an American economist specializing in international trade, political economy, and economic growth. He is the Jacob Viner Professor of International Economics in the Department of Economics and the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. Grossman is known for his contributions to the theory of international trade, endogenous economic growth, globalization, offshoring, trade policy, and the political economy of protectionism.
