About Joël Veltman

Joël Ivo Veltman (born 15 January 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a right-back or centre-back for EFL Championship club West Ham United. A product of the Ajax youth academy, Veltman made 246 appearances for the Amsterdam club before moving on to Brighton in July 2020 for a £900,000 fee on a three-year deal. Veltman has won 28 caps for the Netherlands national team since his debut in November 2013.
