Lars Bender (German pronunciation: [ˈlaʁs ˈbɛndɐ]; born 27 April 1989) is a German professional football coach and former player who played as a right-back or defensive midfielder. He is currently the head coach of the under-17 team of Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. He is the twin brother of fellow coach and former player Sven Bender.
