About Matt Duchene
Matthew David Duchene (pronounced [dyʃɛːn]; born January 16, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is a forward for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Nashville Predators. While with the Predators, he set a new franchise record for most goals scored in a single season. Duchene was selected third overall by the Avalanche in the 2009 NHL entry draft. He won a gold medal with Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
