About Nigel Benn
Nigel Gregory Benn (born 22 January 1964) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1987 to 1996. He held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) middleweight title in 1990. He also held the World Boxing Council (WBC) super-middleweight title from 1992 to 1996. At regional level, he held the Commonwealth middleweight title from 1988 to 1989. As an amateur, he won the ABA middleweight title in 1986. Benn's knockout-to-win percentage stood at 83.3%. Benn was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2026.
