Robert Glenn Ray (born October 1, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, and San Francisco Giants. Ray is a two-time MLB All-Star, having been selected in 2017 and 2025. In 2021, he won the American League (AL) Cy Young Award with the Blue Jays after leading the AL in earned run average (ERA) and MLB in strikeouts. He was also named to the All-MLB First Team.
