About Ron Hunt

Ronald Kenneth Hunt (February 23, 1941 – July 15, 2026) was an American professional baseball second baseman. He played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1963 to 1974 for the New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Montreal Expos, and St. Louis Cardinals. Hunt batted and threw right-handed. In 1971 Hunt set a single-season record for being hit by more pitches (50) than any player since 1900.
