Taylor Jonathan Yates (born May 28, 1987) is an American professional football coach and former player who currently serves as the passing game coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played professionally as a quarterback for seven seasons in the NFL. After playing college football for the North Carolina Tar Heels, Yates was selected by the Houston Texans in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL draft.
